What we do
Time-lapse Solutions has years of experience delivering time-lapse for projects of every size, from major infrastructure works to short events. We supply the right equipment for your site, including IP cameras, DSLR cameras and specialist time-lapse systems, without being tied to one manufacturer. Every system is installed safely and is covered by a support and maintenance contract. We monitor cameras 24 hours a day, seven days a week through your branded portal, so any issues are identified quickly. We produce professionally edited time-lapse videos for marketing and site monitoring throughout or at the end of your project. We also provide drones, live video, solar systems, CCTV, towers, masts, thermal cameras and B-roll footage, including interviews. Equipment is available to buy or rent, with flexible payment plans.

Time-lapse for the construction industry
Although we work across many sectors, most of our projects are in construction. Over the years, we have installed time-lapse systems and drones on sites of all sizes, across the country and for many leading construction companies. Whatever your site or reason for using time-lapse, we have the experience to provide a solution that works for you. We install quickly, safely and with minimal disruption, so you will hardly notice we are there. Our engineers are fully accredited and hold CSCS and IPAF cards.
Rent or buy a time-lapse system
Whether your project is for many years or over the weekend, we will have a cost-effective solution that works for you. That could be hiring a time-lapse system, buying a time-lapse system or a renting part of it and buying the rest. Everything is possible. Check out our guides for both options.
How we work
It is incredibly easy to work with Time-Lapse Solutions and you also get great services delivered on time and on budget. Here is what we do.
Site visit
Before we install your time-lapse camera, we advise that a site visit can be beneficial to identify the ideal shot. However, a physical visit is often not required if our initial discovery meeting provides sufficient site information.
RAMS (Risk Assessment and Method Statement)
We will send a site-specific RAMS for your approval before every installation, ensuring safety standards are strictly met.
Installation and qualifications
On the day of the installation, our team will arrive on time, attend any required induction, provide relevant qualification certificates and cards, and work quickly, safely, and cleanly.
Mounting equipment
We will install and test the cameras, mounting equipment, and solar power systems to ensure everything is fully operational before we leave.
Web portal and live feed
Your branded web portal provides access to images and video. The portal is provisioned the next working day after installation. Live feeds are available for selected projects, while standard projects feature high-resolution latest images and time-lapse progression. Users can zoom into high-resolution images, and robust search and download features allow you to retrieve any image by date and time.
Monthly progress films
Upon request, we can produce monthly or quarterly time-lapse progress films, making it easy to keep project stakeholders and management updated on construction milestones.
Decommissioning and maintenance
For rental projects or upon specific request, we decommission equipment quickly, cleanly, and safely at project completion. (Note: We can also store equipment between projects for a small fee).
Video production and editing
Our professional video post-production involves downloading and processing high-volume imagery, frame-by-frame de-flickering combined with advanced stabilization effects, editorial curation, drone footage integration, custom branding, and audio pairing to deliver a polished final film.
